Shah Rukh Khan’s 1993 blockbuster Baazigar remains one of the most iconic films in Bollywood history. However, despite the movie’s immense success, one of SRK’s co-stars faced severe financial struggles post-release, to the extent that he couldn’t even afford milk for his daughter.
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that even after being part of such a hit film, he struggled to find work in the industry. “I met people, knocked on doors, but opportunities were scarce. The industry can be unpredictable, and despite the success of Baazigar, my career did not take off as expected,” he shared.
The actor further added that financial difficulties took a toll on his family life. “There was a time when I couldn’t even buy milk for my daughter. It was heartbreaking. Those were some of the darkest days of my life,” he recalled.
The Bollywood industry is known for its unpredictability, where not every actor, even after being part of major films, gets the recognition or opportunities they deserve.
